This year’s edition of the project “With Bach Across Poland” is fast approaching. Soon, at the Krakow Philharmonic, the Baroque Collegium 1685 Choir & Orchestra will present one of the most significant musical masterpieces of Western civilization.
The performance will be led by Agnieszka Żarska, who notes: “It is worth realizing that this magnificent music—the score of which is inscribed on the UNESCO list—has deep ties to the history and culture of Poland, stemming from the Saxon-Polish personal union of the first half of the 18th century. Thanks to a fruitful collaboration with the Krakow Philharmonic and the support of the Ministry of Culture oj Poland, we are delighted to invite you on this shared musical journey to the roots of our culture.”
