Baroque Collegium 1685 belongs to a very small group of professional vocal and instrumental ensembles in Poland, which operates on an international scale, functioning completely independently, within the framework of a non-governmental organization.
What does this mean?
The ensemble does not have any fixed, guaranteed budget for its activities, nor institutional support.
In order to implement our international projects and delight you with wonderful music in top-class interpretations, each year we undertake the difficult art of building project budgets from scratch, entering all possible grant competitions.
Public funds still constitute the majority of the annual budget of the BC1685, but obtaining them is increasingly difficult for us, and the effect is always completely uncertain.
That is why building a new, actively supporting us Community around the musical mission of Baroque Collegium 1685, is KEY to us.

Did you know that it was through social media that we established contacts and artistic cooperation with world-class artists such as Peter Kooij and Andreas Scholl?
As you can see, this is a zone that is extremely IMPORTANT to us.

You can recommend the organization of the Baroque Collegium 1685 concert to local/district government institutions, cultural institutions and organizers of music festivals in your area.
Who knows, maybe the seed you have just sown will fall on fertile ground and soon the wonderful music of Bach, Handel and other Baroque masters, in excellent interpretations, will also resound in your city?
We work on a project basis, so we are very flexible, and also love presenting the works of Baroque masters in unconventional places and for a completely new audience.
