Sonia Prina & Baroque Collegium 1685 – From Handel to Mozart

The inauguration of an artistic collaboration with one of the world’s most esteemed contraltos. Sonia Prina and the Baroque Collegium 1685 Orchestra, conducted by Agnieszka Żarska, will present a captivating, emotional program featuring selected alto arias from Handel’s and early Mozart’s operas, interspersed with instrumental music from the stylistic breakthrough of the second half of the 18th century, including the Polish premiere of Georg Anton Benda’s – Sinfonia in F.

The concert will take place on the 4 th of November in the post-industrial space of the Rothera Mills in Bydgoszcz/Poland as the finale of this year’s Baroque Explorations Festival AD2025 .

The event is organized in cooperation with the “Kino Pomorzanin” Foundation. It is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the “Music” program implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
