Through Poland with BACH

Did you know that, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and widely recognized as one of the most important musical works of all time, it has close ties to Polish culture and history?

The latest project of Baroque Collegium 1685 involves presentations of J.S. Bach’s masterpiece – Mass in B minor, BWV 232 – in various regions of Poland. The 300-page splendid score and dozens of performers from Poland and abroad, specializing in Baroque music, offer nearly two hours of brilliant music in exquisite interpretation.

Our concerts, completely open to everyone, may be a generous invitation to a unique musical journey into the depths of this masterpiece, and with it, into the history and culture of our roots.

We begin our Project in Białystok which, through the Branicki family, boasts direct links with the great composer.
